The Experience Timeline
What to expect from each step in the Experience

Booking
Once you have decided to have a session, we will choose a date, sign the contract, process your payment and you will be given access the the private Portrait Client Hub and begin the process of planning your Portrait Experience.

Design Consultation
Meeting in person or virtually and begin the co-creation of your photoshoot. We will discuss how you want to be photographed, styling, outfits and everything that we will need to complete your looks.

Preparation
Pre-session preparation begins. We will create mood boards to clarify the vision for The Experience, hand-make needed props, design your set and gather together all we need to bring portraits to life.

Professional Styling and Photoshoot
Professional makeup artistry and light hairstyling after which you will look and feel amazing as you step in front of the camera. Breathe easy as you are fully directed by Amelia, from the tips of your toes to the top of your head, and every detail in between.

Portriat Reveal and Ordering
After your photoshoot you will take a short break and then return to the studio for your Portrait Reveal. Select your favourites from your most outstanding photos and order your products.

Image Delivery
After ordering your images will be professionally retouched and printed on archival paper. Your stunning collection will be delivered to you ready to display.

The Experience at Amelia McLeod Photography is a luxurious full-service photoshoot. Allow any apprehensions you have of having your photo taken to dissolve as the professional team pamper you with beautiful makeup and hair artistry before you are fully guided by me through posing to flatter your figure and favourite features. With complete confidence, I know that we can create amazingly beautiful images of you and present you with an exquisite portfolio of portraits that are sure to inspire.
Where will I be photographed?
Most photoshoots are held in my studio in Panorama, SA. However, if you have somewhere in mind, or a composite would be best photographed on location, I would love to travel to your dream location with you.
Is the Portrait Experience customisable?
Absolutely, Yes! Each portrait session is uniquely designed for each individual client, typically photographing 4-5 different looks. Do you want to be photographed in your favourite blue jeans and leather jacket? Yep, can do. Or do you want something that makes you feel like you have stepped from the pages of Vanity Fair? Done! What about something surreal from a dreamscape? Everyday of the week! You can do it all in one session. From props to set creation, from wardrobe to posing, I am here to help you achieve the photos of your dreams.

Well, that's superb! You can email, call or text Amelia and we can discuss when you would like your session to be booked. From there we can let the exciting part begin and start planning your Portrait Experience!
When do you do portrait sessions?
Portrait sessions are booked on Tuesdays or Fridays. Saturdays are occasionally available, however they book up very quickly.
What is the Design Consultation?
This is when we meet either in person, or virtually, at least 3-4 weeks before your photoshoot, to help you to decide how you want to be photographed. We will discuss wardrobe styling ideas and any props and elements that need to be sourced to create the sets we need. If you are thinking of a conceptual or illustrative portrait, we will discuss and decide upon any extra photographs that I will need to bring your ideas to life.
What is the Portrait Reveal and Ordering Session?
This is the time when we sit down together and go through all your amazing photos and pick your favourites. You will be able to decide which ones you would like to keep and order.
When will I receive my ordered images?
Delivery times do vary depending on the number of images ordered, the work required for editing, and print options. Typically this is 3-4 weeks after payment is received and will be discussed with you at the ordering session.
